Campus Accessibility

We aim to make OE3C 2025 an accessible and welcoming space for everyone. If you have any questions, concerns, or requests for particular accommodations, please don't hesitate to reach out to the organizing committee at oe3c2025@gmail.com so we can make arrangements to meet your needs.

Physical Accessibility

Nideyinàn is a wheelchair accessible building. All levels of the building can be accessed by elevator and there are ramps leading to the classrooms. Accessible parking is available in lot P2 in front of the bookstore. Accessible washrooms are located on levels 1, 2, 3, and 5. Please note that the classroom doors do not have automatic door opener buttons. Click here for more details about Nideyinàn.

Seating will be available at all times throughout the colloquium, including at the poster session and at coffee breaks.

 

Washrooms

A multi-stall gender neutral/wheelchair accessible washroom is located on level 4 between the Galleria and Rooster's Coffeehouse. Single stall gender neutral/wheelchair accessible washrooms are located on levels 1, 4, and 5. Single stall gender neutral washrooms (not wheelchair accessible) are located on level 3.

Food

All food provided will be plant based. Gluten free options will be available. If you have food allergies or other dietary restrictions, please let us know.

Food service assistance is available. Please feel free to send a request via email beforehand or speak to someone in an OE3C shirt upon arrival.​

 

ASL Interpretation

ASL interpretation is available upon request. Please let us know in advance if you require ASL interpretation so we can make arrangements.

 

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome at OE3C. If you intend to bring a service animal please let us know beforehand so we can make appropriate accommodations for a relief area and water station for them.

 

Support Workers

If you require a disability support worker/assistant, they may accompany you at no extra cost. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing a support person so we can plan accordingly. ​

 

Smudging

Prayer Rooms

A Muslim prayer room is located in room 225A (level 2). A multi-faith centre is located in room 226C (level 2). Click here for more information about prayer spaces on campus.
